Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London

Last weekend we stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London. Although we are not very fond of big hotels (and believe me, this hotel is huge) we were pleasantly surprised. I have to admit that the staff was simply lovely. They were charming and made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. So I would say that the best thing in this hotel is its staff. No doubt. But we also liked the super nice views from our bedroom (picture above), the cool decor, the central location and its declicious cuisine.

Our room was on the 11th floor. Crazy. Look at that lobby… Huge. I told you. The hotel has great facilities: a nice swimmingpool, the Mandara spa, a brasserie, a sushi bar and a petite patissetie. So it’s a bit like London: there is almost everything you might need.

We really want to insist in its lovely staff and the attention to details.  Since we all tend to have breakfast at the same time on weekends, the hotel offers some healthy snacks in case you have to wait a little bit to be seated in the breakfast lounge.  Isn’t it thoughtful?

Our room was fantastic. One of the best rooms we’ve ever been. Huge comfortable bed, warm lightning and cool decor. The bathroom was super nice too, but if you have followed this blog you should know by now that I feel ackward taking photos of bathrooms. You will have to believe me when I say it was gorgeous. Modern, minimalistic, huge tub and huge separate shower (in this hotel everything is huge!).

Huge closet with a nice lady. Brit pop make up!

Of course, we ordered room service! It was beyond delicious and the waiter was so nice that we almost invited him to have something to eat with us!

Let’s have a closer look at that creamy full of caramel iced crème brûllée…

So if you look for a modern accommodation in the heart of Westminster, this is a nice option. Bear in mind that the hotel is huge, so there will be lots of guests! If you are the lonely type, you’d better look for a smaller hotel. However, this place is great for a cosmopolitan getaway to enjoy the wonders of London!

You can book your room here.

PS: Another great hotel in London.
