Lisbon is a magnificent city. It has a wonderful bright light that contrasts with its decadent atmosphere. And has the most beautiful viewpoints in Europe! S. Jorge Castle, Alfama, Chiado and the close village of Cascais were my favorite spots. Let me show you!

Be prepared to walk up the hills. It’s worth it. You will enjoy wonderful views! In my opinion, the views from Santa Luzia and S. Jorge castle are the best ones. This is what you will see from Santa Luzia…

If you continue climbing up the hill, you will arrive at S. Jorge castle…

The area that sorrounds the castle is full of lovely streets…

One night we went to Clube de fado. We had a wonderful portuguese dinner and listened to fado. The place is really nice decorated and the singers were incredible. To get there we have to climb this steps :-)

Monastery of Jerónimos is also a must. Placed in the Belém area, it is the epitome of the Manueline-style architecture. It is very close to the Tower of Belém and the Antiga Confeitaria de Belém, where you can try the delicious Pastéis de Belém. And buy some to take home with you!

Cascais is a very nice village just 20 minutes away from Lisbon. It is lovely… But I will show you tomorrow! Have a wonderful Saturday!
