Sometimes we feel nostalgic about those places we’ve visited, those moments we’ve lived abroad. These pictures make us feel that way. Sunsents tend to have that effect on us. That warm light over an urban landscape has something calming, comforting and encouraging, even empowering. It’s addictive. We want to keep travelling and enjoying quiet sunsets over new exciting places.
Today, just a few more pictures of our trip to Heidelberg. A beautiful Autumn sunset.
After a whole day of exploring, we decided to hop on a boat at sunset. It wasn’t planned, it just happened. We were exhausted but we curled up in an almost empty boat and enjoyed a peaceful, quiet cruise that showed us Amsterdam from another angle. The water was calm and we felt that we were the only ones wandering through the canals.
Last month we spent a few days in Cadiz. We could relax, took sunbaths and, of course, taste delicious fresh fish. Here you have some pictures…
Somewhere between Zurich and Bremen.
Mykonos is just wonderful. We spent six days going from beach to beach, no make up, no heels, no rush, no clock… it was all about great food, wonderful landscapes and kind people. Since it was already October the island was almost deserted: perfection.
