The blue shirt edit

Blue shirts are like striped tees for us. You can never have too many and there’s nothing more versatile. However, now that we are trying to edit our wardrobe and be more conscious about what we shop we’ve had to reduce our purchases, donate those pieces that didn’t spark joy for us (any Marie Kondo fans out there?) and keep just our favourite items. These five blue shirts passed the test and have proved to be essential to us. That means, we wear them all the time! Starting on the right, this Equipment shirt is one of my capsule wardrobe: one month / one piece purchases, in fact it’s my favourite so far.  I’ve worn it at least once a week since I’ve bought it. With black pants and boots in Winter, under a suit for meetings, with skinny jeans and Stan Smiths… It’s really versatile. And the fabric is so soft that it feels like wearing pyjamas. You can find a similar version here. Then we have a classic blue shirt with a twist. …

Marc O’Polo

One of the best things of moving to Germany was discovering Marc O’Polo. We love this brand! Sober colours and cuts, high quality fabrics and Nordic design. What’s not to love? Last week we started our Autumn shopping in one of their stores with these chelsea boots, but I left my heart there. I would have shop this whole outfit. I love every detail of it. Everything. From the coat to those amazing loafers, wich didn’t fit my tiny feet unfortunately (no, not even the smallest size, umpf!). I will go back, anyway. Autumn is coming and I need that sweatshirt from their Garance Dore collection and that leather skirt, which is actually quite pricey but I think I could wear a lot… Oh, and isn’t this bag perfect? My birthday is coming, ehem…
