What’s new, London?

You know what they say: when man is tired of London, he is tired of life. Well, we can’t agree more. London always offers something new, interesting and exciting. No matter how many times we visit London, we are always surprised: by an exhibition, a restaurant, a trend, a view… It can definitely be overwhelming but with the help of our friends and a slow-paced (wink!) approach, we try to take it easy and let the city surprise us. If you follow us on Instagram you probably know that we spent last weekend in London. So here you have the mandatory post with are our latest discoveries in this fascinating city:

Matsuri, Seville

These gyozas are the best gyozas we’ve ever eaten. And oddly enough we found them in a small japanese restauran in Seville. While Seville is famous because of its traditional Spanish cuisine and, of course, tapas, during the last five years the city has developed a nice taste for international menus. Being La Alameda Seville’s hippest district, there was no better location for Matsuri, a sophisticated yet cosy Japanese restaurant (where you can eat these amazing gyozas).

December favorites

A little bit late, but here you have our December favorites! Starting with one of the presents St. Nikolaus brought me. A new breakfast set from Villeroy & Boch. Of course, we celebrated the arrival of the breakfast set with scrambled eggs and huge coffes. And posted a picture on Instagram.  Obviously.

Janatomo, Madrid

A few days ago we had a marvellous dinner with one of our dearest friends, who I hadn’t seen for a couple of years! We chose a Japanese restaurant that not only offers great food and a perfect ambiance, but also has a special meaning for us. This was the first place where the three of us met after our wedding.

TANUKI

And we’re back from Bruges! We’ve spent the most incredible 4 days. The city was incredibly beautiful, the food was beyond amazing and the hotel was perfect. So, be prepared for a load of posts about Bruges this week! Let’s begin with mmm…Monday! Once again Tokyobanhbao made a wonderful recommendation! We read about Tanuki in her blog and we didn’t hesitate and tried it! We were there twice in four days! Yes, it was that good!
