Today we introduce you our very first Weekend style icon. Every week we will choose someone whose casual style is remarkable. We think casual is what really defines style. It’s quite easy to look fantastic with a designer piece and a pair of sophisticated heels, but there are people that look just perfect with a simple pair of jeans and a tee shirt. Maybe they accessorize it differently, maybe they choose the right colour palette… we don’t know why but they just rock it! Besides, we love casual! Even more at weekends, don’t you? So here you have our first weekend style icon: Spanish model Eugenia Silva.

I saw this exact picture in a magazine a couple of weeks ago and since then I’ve been dreaming about this outfit. That jacket, sigh! The cut, the neutral colours, the belt, those stripes strategically placed to enhance the waist and the shoulders… Perfection!
I normally won’t like such a matchy matchy outfit, but in this case I love how the stripes of the skirt lengthen the silhouette. Whithout being overly girly, the results is no doubt ultra feminine.
It’s quite pricey, though… but it could be a great investment for your working looks, don’t you think? You can buy it here.

I’m still searching my It bag, that timeless investment, that beauty which will dress up all my outfits… and deciding which one to buy is almost impossible. But this Boy is unexpectedly rising on my list. In such a short period of time it has become a classic already, isn’t it? I love the black leather version, but the velvet jewel tones are so pretty… Decisions, decisions…

Sabrina Meijer is one of our favourite bloggers, she’s been on our blogroll for years. Her clean, simple, avant-garde style is unique. She really is different from the rest of the fashion bloggers who wear everything that is trendy. She has a strong sense of style and we admire her for that.

I’m sure you have seen this… I don’t know how to call it! Skirt? Culotte short? Skort? The white one is all over the blogosphere! I really like it, though I prefer the little blue number.
I would wear it with my New Balance sneakers and a simple tee, a kind of casual chic look. What do you think?

If you follow us you should know by now that we love French brands (clic, clic, clic). During our last trip to Paris we discovered Pablo, the new line of Gerard Darel, and we just fall in love with its simple cuts, refine textures and elegant pieces. We loved them even more when we knew that their motto was the famous quote by Oscar Wilde “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken”!
