Lena Hoschek

Our dearest friends are getting married in a month and we still have nothing to wear. Panic. They have planned a classic glamourous night wedding that is going to be so much fun. We just can’t wait! But again, we have nothing to wear. Well, I know that P. is going to find a stunning gown the minute she looks for it. She is tall and slim and everything looks just perfect on her. Unfortunately, that’s not my case. I’m curvier and petite. The result? Shopping is not easy for me. But after looking and looking (and looking a little bit more) I’ve found a brand that embraces femininity: Lena Hoschek.

Imperial dresses

A couple of weeks ago we were strolling around Viertel, the cool area of Bremen, when we decided to have a look in one of the shops. We usually don’t go shopping in this neighbourhood because everything is so indie and cool that we just don’t feel comfortable. But! You never know what you are going to find, huh? And we did find something we like! We discovered Imperial, an Italian brand that has a bunch of beautiful dresses for the party season. The best thing is that they have a nice little number for every kind of woman: 1. The minimalistic scandi design lover will love this trapeze dress: muted pastel colours, subtle silver shimmer and a very simple cut. 2. The boho girl can find her perfect outfit mixing this long lace dress with a faux fur jacket and a pair of embellished boots. 3. Do you like retro vibes? Look no further! This beautiful black dress will look espectacular on you. Add a pair of black pumps, Veronica Lake hair and a touch of red …

Dresses for Paris

If there is a place that inspires me to dress up is Paris. Even though the super stylish French girls wear mostly skinny jeans and basic tees and blazers in plain colours, when in Paris I always feel like wearing prints, fluffy pastels and bright lipstick. I guess that’s because I’m not a cool stylish French girl. Anyway, it’s my Paris and I overdress if I want to! For me, the best way to feel girly, pretty and comfortable for a day wandering though the streets of Paris is wearing a beautiful dress. Asos has an amazing selection of affordable dresses for this Spring. This polka dot dress would be perfect for a morning walk around Saint Germain des Prés, sigh! Here you have my favourites… maybe I give you some ideas for your next getaway!

Inès de la Fressange pour La Redoute

Inès de la Fressange… Pure charm. She is one of my fashion icons so when I heard that she was collaborating with La Redoute I was more than happy. This dress is my favourite piece of her selection. And it’s going to be mine. I need it. And I mean it! It’s simple yet stylish, it can be easily dressed up and down, it flatters every possible figure and, well, it’s just perfect. It can also be yours here! PS: if you don’t have it yet, you should buy her style guide. It’s lovely!!!

In my suitcase: a nice dress

I’m leaving on Sunday, so this is the end of In my suitcase series – Chistmas edition. And the best way to finish these series is with a nice holiday dress, don’t you think? It’s the perfect cherry on top! This is a dress that I received just today. I have to admit that Chriselle gave me the idea. I saw it on her blog and I bought it immediately. It’s girly, super warm and has lovely festive vibe without being too Christmassy. You can buy it (on sale!) here.
