It’s that time of the year again: Christmas card DIY!!! Last year you really liked our Christmas cards so we thought: why not share again the easiest DIY ever? I’m not particularly crafty. In fact, I’m quite clumsy but every year, one afternoon at the end of November, I play Christmas carols and make our Christmas cards. I’d say that’s one of my favorite moments of the year. It’s not a secret: I love Christmas! And this is the only time of the year when I feel like using washi tape and that makes me feel connected with the world. Seriously, what other use can you give to washi tape?
We love Instagram. It’s a great place to be creative and admire other people’s creativity. (It is also a fantastic excuse for gossiping, but we won’t mention that, ehem). It was thanks to Instagram that we get to know Nicole’s work. She is an illustrator who lives in New York and makes the cutest cards.
We’ve never sent Christmas cards as a couple. It’s weird because we’ve been together for almost thirteen years and married for almost three years now so it was about time, huh? Some weeks ago I decided that this year not only would we send pretty Christmas cards to our friends and family, but also we would make them ourselves! I’m not a very crafty person, that is why I went for the easiest way possible. I am very proud of the result so I thought it would be nice to share the process with you.
Look! The slow pace has brand new business cards!!! Do you like them? We love them! When we started this blog we never thought we would keep it more than a few months but guys, this is getting serious! We never thought we would have followers, but there are more than 150 people out there following our blog, we never though someone would be interested in collaborating with us and we have a lovely sponsor since last February ( thank you AB line!) and we never thought anyone would notice our little blog, but last week we reached 20.000 visitors! Ok, I get it, that’s not much compared with other super blogs in the blogospehere, but for us is huge! The lovely card holder is from &otherstories, you can buy it here! We designed and printed our cards with Moo. Funny name, great cards! So, thank you for being there! We will keep on working to see you around here everyday! E & P.
