4 years

Four years ago we took a plane to Paris, where we were supposed to catch another flight to Bremen. We lost our connection and ended up in Hamburg where, as soon as we got out of the plane, a taxi driver was expecting us to drive us at a ridiculously high speed to Bremen. We arrived at night, exhausted and confused. The following morning we woke up to an empty foggy town. The only sound was the cawing of several huge black crows. We were terrified and thought that moving here was a terrible idea.

French cheese tasting

Last week we attended the most wonderful foodie experience: a French cheese tasting. It took place in our favourite restaurants in Bremen, Presse. Even though we eat there at least once a week, we hadn’t still attended one of their special nights. Two months ago, when we saw they have programmed a French cheese tasting, we couldn’t say no and booked our seats. If you love cheese, you are going to love this post!

Atrium, Bremen

This weekend we payed a visit to a restaurant we’ve wanted to try for a few weeks. I had the opportunity to interview the owner for my last article in El Viajero and since then I was super curious. This restaurant has a little gourmet shop in the front where you can buy thousands of delicatessen from the Mediterranean area. Back in the dining room, you can enjoy delicious dishes in a truly charming atmosphere.

Maharani, Bremen

Last Friday we had a lovely dinner in one of our favorite restaurants in Bremen, Maharani. We always doubt about posting recommendations about Bremen, but hey, that’s where we live and who knows? Maybe you happen to visit the town and you don’t know where to eat! Well then, this is the best Indian -Pakistani restaurant in town.

Presse, Bremen

Living in a small town has its pros and cons. One of the cons is that there are just a few nice places: a few nice restaurants, just four or five interesting shops, a couple of fun clubs… But the huge pro is the rush you experience when you discover a new place!!
