An avocado toast on The slow pace, finally!

Yes, it’s finally here. An avocado toast on The slow pace! The queen of Instagram! The dish that has taken the world by storm! The healthy(ish) way of eating bread with things!  Such a cliché… but since one of our goals for this year was to publish what we want and for the past few years we’ve been having a version of this dish for dinner at least twice a week, we are sharing our favourite avocado toast today. As if the world needed another avocado toast recipe? Well, wait to try this creamy, zingy, delicious toast with fresh, light tomato salad and judge us afterwards. Roast carrots and avocado Winter salad

This weekend has been all about nesting and, even though we wanted to indulge into all the junk food in the world, we have managed to stay quite healthy-ish (apart from the occasional chocolate debacle on Sunday). However, we’ve still had some delicious dishes on our table. This wonderful warm salad feels like a treat although is full of vitamins, proteins and nutrients. It’s our take on one of Jamie Oliver’s recipes from this book. Our version is a little bit lighter than the original because we have avoided the bread and the soured cream and have added a little bit of protein in the form of crispy grilled chicken. AVOCADO AND HAM SANDWICH

We are always looking for the perfect snack: something yummy to take with us in our trips. Looking for new sandwich recipes, I’ve found this avocado and ham sandwich. It looks amazing! And it’s so easy to prepare! You just cut a baguette, stir some mustard with butter and pepper, spread it on the bread, layer some slices of ham and avocado, add a pich of sea salt… and you’re good to go!!
