To finish our Paris themed week, we would like to take you on a really cool night out. A nice bubbly drink in one of the most famous Parisian cafes, like Cafe de Flore, could be a nice start, but let’s head to Canal Saint Martin for a different Parisian night.
Hotel Atmospheres, Paris
15 MarAtmospheres hotel is a nice little boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter and it’s the kind of place we love.
Paris souvenirs. Nice shopping addresses
14 MarLet’s start with the most famous Paris souvenir: the macaron. I have a soft spot for anything sweet and I had never ever bought macarons at Laduree, so this time I was determined to buy one of those sweet little pastel boxes. We almost didn’t make it though, we bought them at the airport! And what can I say?
The best places to enjoy the first days of Spring in Paris
13 MarDuring our last stay in Paris we were really lucky and enjoyed what seemed to be a Spring sneak peek (notice the fashion week / blogger slang ;) After living for two years in the gloomy North of Germany, we have learnt that the best things in life are sun and light. They cheer you up and they make everything look better and warmer. So when in Paris, we decided to enjoy the first soft Spring rays of sunlight to the fullest… like there was no tomorrow. Just us and the sun. And the loveliest benches, squares, boulevards and corners of Paris, of course. Here you have a selection of our favourite places to enjoy sun like little ladybirds or grumpy retired old men, which in my opinion are the groups that dedicate most hours to this matter.
mmm… Monday! Paris London
11 MarLet’s begin our Paris themed week with one of our favourite things in the world: food! ;) We discovered this place by pure chance. Last week, after having a great time at Le Tuileries (clic) we were starving and freezing. We didn’t know where to eat and it was a little bit late, so we headed to Place de la Madeleine to visit its amazing gourmet shops and buy some nice little treats. But in our way we found this fantastic place. We were mesmerized. We liked it so much that we came back the next day for brunch!
The day we pretended we were street style bloggers
6 MarThese days in Paris have been amazing. One of the most funny things I’ve ever done in my whole life was watching the circus that surrounds the Fashion Week. There we were, at Les Tuileries, among lots of photographers, pure joy. At first we were shy but after a while we were shouting and running after fashion celebrities like the rest of the people. Crazy!!! It was super fun!!!
Things we’ve discovered during our first Fashion Week and tons of pictures after the jump:
Off to Paris!
1 MarAs you read this, we’ll be flying to Paris. I couldn’t be more excited!!! This trip is a present, a big surprise for me. My lovely wife knows me very well ;) We’ll spend a few days in a little boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter and we’ll experience for the first time Paris Fashion Week. Croissants for breakfasts, museums, cheese, walks by the Seine with my love, macarons and fashion… can I ask for more? NO! Oh well, a little bit of sunshine won’t hurt, is that too much to ask for?
Paris here we come!
PS: Any tips or recommendations will be appreciated!!!

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London
15 FebLast weekend we stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London. Although we are not very fond of big hotels (and believe me, this hotel is huge) we were pleasantly surprised. I have to admit that the staff was simply lovely. They were charming and made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. So I would say that the best thing in this hotel is its staff. No doubt. But we also liked the super nice views from our bedroom (picture above), the cool decor, the central location and its declicious cuisine.
The most romantic place in the world
13 FebTomorrow is St. Valentine’s day. I know that lots of people find this day cheesy and silly, but hey, every reason to celebrate love and eat chocolate is fantastic to me so… Go St. Valentine! :)
I thought I’d share with you the most romantic place in the world for me. It’s Ravello, a little village in the Amalfi Coast. Up in the mountains, it’s full of luscious secret gardens and it has the most breathtaking views. It’s also a very meaningful place for us… here we spent our honeymoon! Ravello is quieter that the rest of the Amalfi coast, it has a peaceful atmosphere and a very different energy. Here you feel that the world can wait. Time seems to have stopped in its little alleys.
Cumpá Cosimo (Via Roma, 44, 84010 Ravello) is a tiny trattoria were you can eat delicious traditional dishes. With its simple checkered tableclothes and its amazing gnocchi is the best place to have a little romantic dinner. We had our first honeymoon dinner there and it sure was something to remember.
Which is the most romantic place in the world for you? I’d love to know!
Our weekend in London
12 FebHello everyone! Happy Tuesday! Here you have some pics of our weekend in London. We always have a great time in this amazing city and come back home thinking about moving to London! At some point I think we will actually move there… Anyway! This time we discovered the East, made a new friend (hi Alba!) while arranging the first collaboration of this little blog of ours, went to a musical (The Jersey Boys, super fun!) and had brunch with friends in the nicest place of London (post about it coming soon!). But there was more…
