Preen Pre-fall 2014

Before the fashion week madness starts in New York, we would like to review one last Pre-Fall collection. I don’t know why but Pre-Fall collections are my favourites. They have that mid-season charm, a particular style that is not as trendy as other collections. Maybe it’s a middle child syndrome… but they feel special. A few weeks ago we shared with you our favourite Pre-Fall collection by Michael Kors (click!) and more recently we dreamed about the most stunning Pre-Fall pieces by Valentino (click!). Today, we talk about Preen and their fabulous Pre-fall collection inspired by Tippi hedren.

These dresses are simply beautiful, don’t you think? The whole collection is quite monochromatic, specially black and white, but it has incredibly beautiful dark blue shades.  Besides the vintage-like dresses, we can find tailored pieces too, like this coat…

Or this jacket, which cleaner lines give a more polished feel to it.

Suddenly, we are surprised by this intense yellow tone that surely can bright up any wardrobe!

This dress is simply amazing. That back, sigh!

But this last one is my favourite, no doubt! That print is all about Hitchcock’s The Birds. On another note, I love the matchy matchy lips and strappy sandals!
