The slow pace

Best of 2013

2013 has been a little bit difficult for us. But it has had fantastic moments too, of course. We’ve travelled a lot, we’ve started new exciting projects and we’ve been great together, that’s the most important thing of all! Here you have our 2013 in images. Grab someting to drink because this is going to be a loooong post!

In February we visited London. It was the first trip of the year. We had the best of times and it was the beginning of our collaboration with Antonio Bayona Jewellery! We stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster. Huge hotel!

We spent the first days of March in Paris, where we pretended we were street style bloggers. During our days in Paris we ate the best hamburger we’ve ever had, we stayed at a very charming hotel and got to know Paris’ night life thanks to a writer.

In April we met one of our best friends in Mallorca for a long weekend. Those three days were pure relax. The weather was perfect, the food was amazing (specially the Cocas at La Coquería) and the hotel where we stayed was a little gem.

In May we visited the Algarve for the first time. I can’t describe those days… they were just what we needed. We stayed at Belavista Hotel & Spa, the BEST hotel we’ve ever been to. We can’t recommend it enough!

In Summer we spent some days in Cadiz and Málaga in Spain, but we also visited some cities in Germany.

Our Summer ended with a nice tour in my beloved Veneto: Vicenza, Marostica, Bassano del Grappa and Verona. We discovered an amazing Trattoria in Verona, we talked about it here. But the star of the trip was, as always, Venice.

Autumn started with a super fun long weekend in Dublin with our friends.

We walked a lot, we laughed a lot and we ate a lot. We shared with you three great places to eat in Dublin here.

We finished our year with a last minute trip to Copenhagen where we enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere, stayed at a design hotel and, as usual, ate a lot.

Looking back we feel very grateful for all the nice experiences we have lived this year and we want to thank you for being there with us. This little blog of ours makes us very happy and you make it possible, so we can’t thank you enough. We just hope that in 2014 you come with us too!

Remember: the best is yet to come!
Happy 2014!
