Birthday Breakfast

presse_breakfast_4
Last week we have a belated birthday celebration. We decided to try breakfast in one of our favourite restaurants in Bremen, Presse.

And it was goood. We took our time… we needed two hours to finish our breakfast! As you can see the presentation was really nice. The breakfast had sweet and salty treats… and everything in between, actually. We ordered a fresh orange juice and a couple of capuccini and got down to business!
presse_breakfast_6The cold meats and cheese selection was really good. The parma ham was outstanding, really. They served different kinds of bread rolls to go with the cold meats and cheeses but we run out of them very quickly. We love bread, what can we say?

presse_breakfast_7One of the things I loved the most about the breakfast was the strawberry jam. It was so good, that we decided to take some with us. One of the best things about this place is that they have a little shop where you can buy some of the products they serve. Oh, and those little pieces of almond cake were amazing too.
presse_breakfast_5The croissants were tiny but perfect. So buttery and light… I ate one with a little bit of cream cheese and that strawberry jam. I almost died. So gooood…
presse_breakfast_1We had a great time because not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere was quiet, the place smelled amazing and the music they were playing was relaxing and inviting.
presse_breakfast_2It is a lovely place. One of our favourites in Bremen, if not our favourite! Before leaving, we had a look at their pastry corner and were tempted to take a piece of those cakes with us. We were good girls and didn’t do it. I’m still regretting our decision… look at them!
presse_breakfast_9They also sell some cook books, kitchen accesories and even super cool bicycles! I told you, this place is great.
