A night out in Paris

paris_cafe_de_flore

To finish our Paris themed week, we would like to take you on a really cool night out. A nice bubbly drink in one of the most famous Parisian cafes, like Cafe de Flore, could be a nice start, but let’s head to Canal Saint Martin for a different Parisian night.

This are area is full of restaurants and bars with a super cool and effortless atmosphere. Last Friday we started our night with a yummy dinner at Le cambodge, a great Cambodian restaurant. We had never tried Cambodian food before and we loved it. They don’t take reservations, so we just waited for a little bit and had a tiny table where we enjoyed our meals.

We don’t remember the names of our orders because we don’t speak French nor Cambodian/Jemer, but everything was delicious. Yes, that means we didn’t know exactly what we were ordering :) The waitress gave us a paper to write down our order and draw a little something. Oh Paris… always so artistic! If you are creative enough they might upload your order in their web.

After dinner, you can head to one of the bars that invade the neighbourhood. We chose Le carillon. And it was great. Placed in 18, Rue Alibert it’s an old school cafe and bar. It was super fun: full of goodlooking people and gorgeous barmen, it was loud, nice and crowded. Just like it should be. Great music, great atmosphere, great time. I had so much fun that I forgot to take pictures. Bad blogger. After having a few drinks we headed home tired and happy. A nice walk along the Canal Saint Martin was the perfect way to finish our night :)

So, we hope you’ve enjoyed our Parisian week!

PS: In case you’ve missed something: a great bistro, beautiful dresses for a Parisian getaway, lovely walks, the bestΒ shops and a charming boutiqueΒ hotel.

Paris has to be in my top 3 of the best cities in the world, I miss it so much :( It looks like you had an amazing time there. I’ve never been to Le Cambodge so I’ll have to check it out next time I’m there. xx
