The slow pace

Our weekend in London

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! Here you have some pics of our weekend in London. We always have a great time in this amazing city and come back home thinking about moving to London! At some point I think we will actually move there… Anyway! This time we discovered the East, made a new friend (hi Alba!) while arranging the first collaboration of this little blog of ours, went to a musical (The Jersey Boys, super fun!) and had brunch with friends in the nicest place of London (post about it coming soon!). But there was more…

We discovered an amazing little shoe shop. If you like boho meets nerdy meets retro style, you will find your favourite shoes here. Basic colors, soft leather and comfy yet stylish design are the keys. A little bit tomboyish too, just what we love: Shoe embassy, Spitafields Market.

Brick lane was really interesting. We didn’t have curry, though! ;) The sorrounding areas are full of street art and graffiti. This part of London is actually full of contrasts.

One of the best things we did this weekend was trying a hot chocolate at Lucky’s Wonderland, a pop-up cafe in Carnaby Street. I’m a hopeless chocoholic (in fact I’m eating chocolate while typing this) and this was one of the best hot chocolates that I’ve ever had. Creamy, aromatic and full of flavour. It was perfect. Really, go try it if you have the oportunity. We had the milk chocolate: simply delicious. But we have to come back to try the dark chocolate with a pinch of sea salt. We asked for it, but some lucky bastards had drunk all of it!!
