Good morning! How was your weekend? Ours was fantastic: on Saturday we went for a long walk in the snow (Did you see yesterday’s post?) and on Sunday we watched a couple of films under the blankets and drank nice cups of hot chocolate. Typical Winter weekend, right?
Is there a better way to finish a lazy Winter weekend than preparing a nice cup of hot chocolate? No, there isn’t. So, today we’ll show you how to prepare a hot chocolate… German style!
You just need to heat a cup of milk and once it’s very very hot, add these chocolate squares: a dark chocolate and a milk chocolate in each cup. Stir gently a couple of minutes and voilà! A nice cup of soft sweet hot chocolate. Serve it in your best china with your favourite cookies (Speculoos cookies for me, please! You can buy them here). And enjoy!
