I can’t imagine a Christmas suitcase without huge cosy Christmas jumpers. They are nice and comfortable and you just wonder if you could always live in them, but then you remember your beautiful blazers and tops and know that Christmas jumpers are perfect but just for Christmas. It’s just like staying with your parents at Christmas, great but just for Christmas, right? Anyway, this one in the picture is from Lot78, but I couldn’t pick up only one, so here you have my selection.
Yesterday I went to the Spa to get my back massaged. It was a present that I got on my birthday and that’s the only reason I went for it. I know massages are supposed to be relaxing but I find them very stressful. I just feel uncomfortable, shy and really nervous. And what do I do when I get nervous? Talk. So there I am: lying seminaked, with my face stuck in some sort of hole, almost suffocated by a towel and talking talking talking. I always wonder how people relax in that situations! Do you? Don’t you feel like you have to say something or create a bond with the person who is touching you? I mean, that gets intimate sometimes! Once a friend of mine got me a full body scrub massage in a very fancy Spa as a birthday present and although it was supposed to be an incredible experience, really exclusive and luxurious, I had a terrible time because I didn’t know what to do while the lady was scrubbing my… well, everything!!! I almost run out of topics to talk about!
The Kooples is one of our favourite brands. We discovered its über cool style during our first trip to Paris a few years ago and sice then we just can’t get enough of it!
The Autumn / Winter collection 2012 is just perfect. The fabrics, the sober colours and the cuts are fantastic. They also have very warm coats, so if you live in a cold cold cold city like us, you should give them a try.
You can have a look at the collection and maybe buy a little something for you (Oh, c’mon! It’s almost Christmas ;-) )here

Yesterday I was thinking that I’ve never seen a Verdi Opera… and I would love to. Today I’ve found out that I could make my wish come true just booking a couple of tickets of Nabucco at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. They open on February 1st, wouldn’t it be a great way to start the year? I’m sure this production would be amazing because Mr. Abbado is involved. Can you imagine listening to the famous Va’ pensiero in a place like that? Breathtaking!
So, please Santa, can you get me a little weekend getaway to Milan and a couple of tickets for this amazing Opera?I’ll make it easy: Information and tickets here!
This weekend we had a great time in Hamburg. We made our first Christmas shopping, we visited two neighbourhoods we didn’t know, had dinner at Bullerei (quite a disappointment, I must say) and discover a great place for breakfast, Gnosa. But the best thing of our weekend was our hotel, The George.
We spend Christmas basically on pijamas or bundled up in huge sweaters, jeans and boots, but sometimes you just want to add a little sparkle in you life… And these earrings are beautiful, aren’t they? Not that I will wear these earrings with my pjs… Well, who knows? Maybe that would be a trend one day. Wait! It’s already a trend: pajama pants and statement earrings were huge this year, right?
Anyway, these earrings would look amazing with a simple LBD for a fancy night out with friends. They would be nice too paired with a nice blouse and a pair of great cut pants for a more casual look, a family dinner maybe?
The super cool girl behind Fash and Chips posted this picture a couple of weeks ago. Since then, we can’t stop thinking about those burgundy sneakers. Aren’t they great?
If you happen to be in New York before January 12, 2013 you should visit Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen, the exhibition organized by the Kent State University Museum at the New York Public Library.
This woman was amazing. I love the magnificient elegance in her filmography and her tomboy style outside the screen. She was a truly trendsetter.

I know, I know, it’s Tuesday. But yesterday we couldn’t post. We worked from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. non stop! So here you have this week’s mmm… Monday on a Tuesday!
Cocas are a typical Majorcan dish that we love. María, the chef of Ca Na Toneta introduced us to the simple yet full of flavour Cocas in the wonderful catering that she prepared for our wedding two years ago. Since then it has become one of our favourite appetizers.
Christmas holidays are around the corner (yay!). What does this mean? That “In my suitcase” Christmas edition is here! (double yay!)
First thing I’m going to take with me? This lovely tartan scarf from Zara. I just can’t picture Christmas without tartan and warm cosy attire so this piece is a win-win!
