London day 2

20 Sep

Our second day in London was so bright, warm and lovely that we decided to get up early and have a nice shopping spree around Covent Garden before spending the day at the park.

Seven Dials is one of our favourite shopping areas in London. It’s usually really crowded but we managed to avoid all the shopaholics by being there by 10 a.m. Well, that’s kind of shopaholic-ish itself but… oh, well. Our favourite shops are Paul & Joe and Les Nereides. I also have a little tradition of my own: each time I visit London I buy a pair of shoes in Covent Garden’s Aldo. This time I went for a nice pair of slippers. You will see them soon!

Before leaving we spent a great time here. We love their travel books and we always find something interesting and funny to take back home. These were hilarious!

Then we headed to St. John’s Wood. There we met a lovely friend of mine and her gorgeous baby boy. We absolutely love this neighborhood! So fancy!

After a delightful walk around the nicest shops and cafes, we went to Primrose Hill to enjoy the wonderful weather, sit on the grass and play.

And we enjoyed a wonderful hamburger too!

When the little gentleman was too tired to keep on playing with us it was time to say goodbye. Sad. But we didn’t want to go home, so we decided to continue with our day at the park… Regent’s Park, this time. We’ve never been there and it was a nice surprise.

It was already 8 p.m., we were incredibly tired but so happy to have spent the day under the sun, caching up with our friend and discovering new corners of London.

Time for a light dinner and back to the hotel!

Look who was expecting us in our hotel room? Yeah… M&M’s, MTV and a huge soft king size bed.. The perfect way to finish our day!
