Mykonos is just wonderful. We spent six days going from beach to beach, no make up, no heels, no rush, no clock… it was all about great food, wonderful landscapes and kind people. Since it was already October the island was almost deserted: perfection.
The first day we explored the city, its tiny streets, its wonderful jewelry stores, the wonderful windmills and the small lovely churches of Paraportiani. Tip: if you visit Greece, you should buy some piece of jewelry. The design is outstandig and the prices are really convenient.
The day ended with a wonderful cocktail by the pool of our hotel. If you have read the previous post you’ll know that we had a big problem with the hotel we have booked. Finally we ended up at the Poseidon Hotel which was wonderful and I really recommend it.
We spent one day in Delos, a wonderful small island that is full of history. And lizards!! The guardian lions were awesome…
We spent the rest of the days relaxing in the most beautiful beaches. I loved that most of the beaches were connected by paths, so when we got tired of an amazing beach we could walk to the following one.
We found the epitome of cristal clear waters…

One afternoon we enjoyed a wonderful sunset in Little Venice while sipping a glass of wine at cafe Veranda.
My last picture is going to be dedicated to the place were we had dinner three days in a row: Nikos Tavern. Lots of guides recommend it, therefore is full of turists, but the food is really good. And there we got to see Petros the Pelican!!!

love the place!
You should go there! It’s incredible!
that crystal clear water is AMAZING!!!
It really is!
Ohhhhh, I love that pictures. Summer is coming and I hope it will be a long and hot summer this year.
Greetings!
I don’t think Mykonos would be that quiet on Summer, though! :-)
Wow, it looks beautiful. So much to see.

Greece looks so stunning with all its white cute little houses! The whole location looks gorgeous with this mix of white houses and deep blue sea.
